PICTURED ON SPRING GREEN COTTON. Should you order the silk, the colour is the same as - chttps://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/54694763/silk-ribbon-embroidery-pp9-roses-and?ref=shop_home_active_12
To herald the arrival of spring and the gorgeous sunshine, I have created this new simple design especially for those who have never tried their hand at crewel embroidery. I have used a few stitches repetitively so that you can easily cope with the stitches. For those more experienced you can change some of the flowers and use slightly more difficult stitches eg. bullion roses or cast-on roses, etc.
This is a complete kit, which includes the wooden pincushion and full instructions, as well as needles and threads. The only additional extra would be a 5" (12cm) hoop to work in - https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/61679363/english-beech-hoop-5-or-12cm?ref=shop_home_active_1
I am happy to put in any eight colours of your choice should you wish to alter the selection. In this way you will be able to stitch a number of similar projects and build up your thread collection at the same time.
This is a quality product dyed on DMC base thread, with 16 metres on each skein. Design measures 3" or 7½ cm in diameter. It is depicted on an pine pincushion base but is also available on mahogany or oak. This design is worked in a 5 inch or 12 cm hoop or frame. They are packed in my own headed presentation packaging and therefore perfectly suited to give as a gift. It is pictured here on a small oak pincushion - the form measures approximately 3¼" (8.5cm) in diameter.
