The legendary collaboration between Michael Clark's avant-garde dance troupe and Mark E Smith's fractious rock'n'roll group, The Fall, is brought to life in this delightful cardboard diorama.
With relatively little video footage of this seminal performance readily available we humbly suggest that, combined with the soundrack album 'I Am Kurious Oranj', this may be the DEFINITIVE way to enjoy 'I Am Curious Orange'.
(Note: A couple of people have asked - I've gone with 'Curious Orange' rather than 'Kurious Oranj' as, to the best of my knowledge, all the promotional material for the actual live performance had the 'correct' spelling.)
Measures roughly 19 x 13 x 11cm when assembled.
There is assembly required - see photos - Full instructions are given but you will need to get some glue and scissors out and clear an hour or so from your, no doubt, full and varied diary. But imagine how thrilling it'll be to make a tiny card hamburger and then sit a tiny card Brix on top of it?!
Here at 'Hey Kids Rock'n'Roll' we pride ourselves on high design standards and on choosing projects which, frankly, we're never going to make any money on. It's this willful, contrary, impractical attitude which made The Fall and ideal subject.
Not suitable for young children. I mean, it's probably ok but there's some small bits and exposure to The Fall at a young age may well lead to expensive therapy bills later in life.
