Handcrafted glass and polymer clay fruit earrings, created and designed by Nia Roschi and inspired by Carmen Miranda.
An Etsy bestseller for five(!) years now - fruit earrings are simply what we're known for, and these are the pair that started it all. These bespoke earrings are designed and handcrafted from scratch by ourselves here in Wales using the finest glass, silver, polymer clay and lucite components. Our work has been worn everywhere from the red carpet to the streets of 90210, and we just love that it all began here.
From the get-go, we wanted to emulate classic fruit earrings of the 1950s in a more contemporary, modern manner. The configuration of the beads is something we perfected and honed, ensuring that the beads sit in the optimal shape. The beads themselves are either comprised of Czech glass, polymer clay or high-quality lucite; silver fixings and components secure everything in place, whilst still allowing for freeform movement.

We can finish the earrings in your choice of closure:

- A polymer clay banana
- A polymer clay apple
- Handmade, glass cherries with enameled, metal stalk

- Several lucite leaves.
Measurements:
Each earring is approx. 38mm in length (top of the hook to the base of the grapes) and 20mm in width.
The configuration of fruit may be altered on request at a negotiable rate.

Packaging options: Being eco-conscious is important to us. So, with this in mind, we’re introducing two forms of packaging:
1) An eco-friendly, no-waste form – this is a free ‘upgrade’ for now; eco-packaging will become the default option soon. This packaging option uses either rigid paper and card envelopes for smaller packages, or cardboard shipping boxes and recycled parcel paper for larger orders. Where bubble-wrap is needed, this will be reused and recycled bubble wrap we have ourselves received.
2) Gift-ready environmentally-friendly cotton packaging (default option): this is how we’ve packaged items for a long time, but it isn’t always necessary. This option includes environmentally-friendly cotton gift-bags and wrapping of items within the package. If this isn’t important to you, please do opt for the eco-packaging.

Etsy estimated shipping dates: these are an estimated period in which you should expect delivery. These estimates can be a little inaccurate with international shipments – sometimes they’re far too long, and sometimes they’re too short - hence why Etsy dubbed them ‘estimates’ and not ‘guarantees’. International delivery times may vary depending on weather and other mitigating factors. Unfortunately I cannot offer tracking on smaller international items as standard, but this can be requested and arranged prior to purchase.
