No second piercing needed. Simply twist into a single piercing and get the look of double piercing. This is for a pair of earrings, not just a single earring.

Simple with clean lines, these earrings twist into place creating the illusion of a double hoop (I only have single piercings in the pics). Made with 14k rose gold filled wire, these have an internal diameter of about 7mm, which works for most standard piercing placements. If you have particularly low piercings or tiny earlobes, you may prefer the 5-6mm size. In the pic with my hand to my ear, I am wearing the 5-6mm size. In the pic in the green shirt and also in the video, I'm wearing the 7-8mm size. For reference, my piercings are 5.3mm above the bottom of my earlobe.

These come with a left and a right (spiraling in opposite directions) twist. Simple insert and spiral up and away from the face.

What is Gold Filled?

Gold filled is a layer of real gold bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plate as filled has 100% more gold than plated gold. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant & does not flake off. Most anyone who can wear gold can wear gold filled without fear of allergic reaction to the metal.

Gold filled items are regulated by the government and are, consequently, of a higher quality than gold plated components. By law this layer of karated gold has to be at least 1/20 of the total weight of the metal portion of the piece.
