Beaded Row counter - bling up your knitting with this beautiful beaded knitting abacus. You can count up to 110 rows, using up to 5mm needles (larger available). Please state the colours/shades you would like if you have a preference when ordering, the counters shown in the pictures are examples only. If you have no preference I can send you one from the counters I have already crafted.
To use, simply place your knitting needle in the larger, unbeaded ring near the top of the chain. Then move it down through the large rings each time you complete a row. When you get to the bottom you will have completed 10 rows, so you slide the circle of beads over one single bead, on the abacus at the bottom. This counts your units of ten, and the chain counts the single units.
I've added a large split ring/keyring at the top so that you can also attach it to something else if you want to, not everybody likes to have it on their needles. So much prettier than a lot of the row counters out there, plus it's lightweight, and practical. You can see it in action on this blog http://thingsandideas.wordpress.com/2013/04/05/shiiiny/
Instructions included, plus storage bag.
