Very nice product, lovely quality. A bit hard to get into around the ankle even though I sized up. AND: even if u think u have normal-sized calfs, definitely double-check! Had to squeeze and kinda wished I messaged them about what is considered a wide/strong calf before assuming it‘d be fine! All in all I still really love these pair of leather tabis though!

These Tabi are clearly sturdily made in a standardized process which allows for a fairly small range of error in manufacturing, mostly just misaligned seams that don't structurally affect the shoe. - Leather quality is good, though needed dubbin upon arrival as the leather was a little dry. - The actual experience of wearing the shoes is quite wonderful, soles have the right amount of spring and grip. - one con is, due to the leather's suppleness the structural stitches under the string the tabs grip onto can tear the leather it is sewn into, and this happened to me on first attempt at getting the shoes on (shown in attached img) So beware, but delicate and they will last you a long time. I think a small sashiko thread repair will deal with this issue but still worth noting.
