General inspiration
- Share a process or listing video. Do you have any videos of your process? What about a listing video for one of your popular items? Now would be a great time to share one out on your social channels. If you haven’t created a video yet, here are some tips for taking video on your phone. Add a listing video.
- Share a new listing. Have you added a new item to your shop? Why not let the world know about it. Share a photo and brief description of your newest creation and encourage shoppers to check it out.
- Share your most popular item. Do you have one item that everyone can’t seem to get enough of? Try sharing it on your social channels and let people know where they can purchase so they can get one of their own.
- Share a custom piece. Do you create customised or personalised items? Show some of them off. Let shoppers know that you customise and personalise, so they know that they can come to you for that special item.
- Share a 5-star review. Did you receive a glowing review of your items? Let people know by sharing a 5 star review. This is a great way to celebrate yourself and thank the people who purchase from your shop.
- Share a social-only promotion. Create a special coupon code for your social followers. This is a great way to encourage someone who may be on the fence about buying one of items to make the purchase.
- Create a giveaway. Want to drum up some excitement or hook a potential new customer? Consider running a giveaway of one of your items. Giveaways are a great way to reward your current followers and potentially attract some new ones.
- Go live. Looking for a new way to connect with your customers? Try going live on Facebook or Instagram and share either some of your favourite items, or even have a live crafting party.
- Give a studio tour. Share a little tour of your workspace or studio space. It’s always great to get a peek behind the scenes of the spaces where your items come to life.
- Pack an order. Film a TikTok or an Instagram Reel packing an order. This content is super engaging and a great way to show how your orders will arrive at their final destination.
No matter what you decide to share, don't forget to have some fun with the process. Remember to link to your Etsy shop from your channels, it’s an easy way to drive traffic back to your shop. Stay tuned for next month’s updates!
